I've been commissioned by Tsumori Chitsato to hand paint designs from her new fashion collection directly onto the walls of the new pop up store in The Shop at Bluebird on Kings Road London.
It's a really beautiful store carrying niche designers which are all exhibited in museum-like cases and on innovative pieces of furniture. It's part of the historic Bluebird Garage—built in 1924 for the Bluebird Motor Company and in 1997 converted by Sir Terence Conran to include a restaurant, bar, cafe and concept store. If you haven't been I recommend it, it's a really inspiring space full of amazing clothes, stationary, accessories and beauty products (inc a spa!) for men and women.
I'll be there all day (and some of the night!) on Friday 15th April painting the walls ready for the launch on the 16th, I've been working hard planning it today and I will of course share photos of it once completed... x
