Tiles installed at St James Mews

This Spring is going to be SO exciting, two of my HUGE public art projects are gradually being installed and It's SUCH a delight to see all the hard work come to life. Here's the tiles I created for St James Mews in Charfield.

After EXTENSIVE research, and a lovely community outreach project at the local school (more info here) I decided to create all the work for the development about the local diverse birdlife. There are four of these tiles creating a repeat pattern and featuring the same cherry tree branch. Each tile reflects the changing seasons and depicts the birds you're likely to find on the development at that time of year.

There's MUCH more to be installed including weather vanes, paving and sculptures so stay tuned!...

HUGE thanks to the brilliant London Mouldmakers for all their hard work and (as always) the lovely Emma from Studio Response for such a great commission x
