Space NK

Hello lovelies!

Here's the pig designs I created for the Chinese stores of Space NK to celebrate Chinese New Year (Year of the Pig). I really enjoyed using my new Japanese brush pen for this job and I definitely want to use it more.

SO many exciting things happening but I can't tell you about any of it yet Eeeeeek- will spill the beans soon.

Have a brilliant weekend and I'll be back soon x

Helllloooooooooo!

Here's a new illustration created for Waitrose FOOD Magazine (Feb 19 edition available now). I really had fun writing the names of lots of friends and family on the corks!

- Cladding for an electric substation
- Way markers and paving in Salisbury
- Sculptures, weathervanes and paving for Gloucester
- Sculpture and heritage trail in Kent
- Luxury chocolate packaging
- Packaging for a hotel
- Illustrated blinds
- Jewellery packaging

PHEW - I'd better get back to it!

Much love and I'll be back soon x

Friday

Coworth Park Mug

Hello all

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I had SUCH a wonderful Christmas and New Year with Al, COMPLETELY full of family and love and laughter. I'm feeling really inspired and excited by the year ahead. Already LOTS of projects from 2018 to be completed and lovely new exciting ones on the way.

Here's the mugs I created for Coworth Park in Ascot (one of the hotels in the Dorchester Group). I've worked on lots of lovely projects for them, I'm just finishing off a tea tin and there's new packaging in the works too - they're a lovely client!

Be back soon - have a LOVELY weekend xxx

Walworth hoardings

Hello all!

Cor what a week, I've had a LOVELY new rush job in for Waitrose, finished off the final designs for Charbonnel et Walker's new packaging, worked on the projects for Coworth Park AND... my 95 meters of illustrated hoardings surrounding Walworth Town Hall have now been installed and I'm DELIGHTED!

There is LOTS of juggling in the studio at this time of year! Trying to finish off projects before the Christmas break, balanced with seeing all my BRILLIANT friends and family AND keeping up with rehearsals for my Charleston Dance Troupe which I LOVE (xmas social/ secret Santa next week WHOOP WHOOP!). We're off to my parents for the weekend as it's my sister's birthday and I'm SO excited as they've decorated the house (they do SUCH a beautiful job of this EVERY year!)

I am Christmas OBSESSED! (my decorations have been up since the start of November!) and I've already promised myself that I can keep up the new fairy lights all year as they are SO PRETTY! My tree isn't real BUT... I have a Jo Loves candle in 'Christmas Tree' which is DIVINE! We keep feeding our Christmas cake (and smelling it LONGINGLY!). If it tastes ANYTHING like it smells then I will eat the ENTIRE thing at great speed! Really looking forward to decorating it next week x

Have a lovely weekend whatever you're up to and I'll be back soon x

Wednesday

Hotel plan

Hello lovely people!

Cor, Autumn is properly brilliant isn't it. I am currently perfecting my hot chocolate recipe, making crumbles and plotting many casseroles! (FYI - hot choc should be cocoa + honey + ginger + cinnamon + nutmeg + almond milk + MUCH whisking).

This week I've been working madly across all my projects (which ALWAYS boggles my teeny brain!)
- public artwork for Laverstock nr Salisbury (stone pillars and paving)
- public artwork for South Glos (weather vanes/ sculptures/ tiles and paving
- public artwork strategy for Maidstone (GIANT sculptures planned... watch this space...)
- 95m illustrated hoardings for Southwark
- Illustrated blinds for Eton Museum
- New chocolate box designs for Charbonnel et Walker

AND...

On Friday I'm meeting THE QUEEN!!! to show her the artwork I created for the Lexicon Development in Bracknell Berkshire (Mam rhyming with Ham so I understand)

OK, off to practice my curtesy...

In the meantime here's some new work for Colt on behalf of the super swanky new Principle hotel in London (artwork for their brochure and a cake box.)

Have a lovely week - BACK SOON x

Sunday

MAC Cosmetics

Hiya

I have had a LOVELY week!

I was approached by Polar Black Events to create a Parisian map for MAC Cosmetics the morning after booking a Christmas trip to Paris with the (VERY lovely) Alan! It was a brilliant job with great timing allowing me to draw lots of landmarks in Paris and day-dream about my upcoming trip!

Next week I'll be finishing off the last 30m of the 95m of illustrated hoardings I'm creating for Southwark Council. I'm then zooming off in Clementine (the camper van) on Friday for a weekend away seeing family and on Sunday I'm performing with my Charleston Dance Troupe at Hayling Island and I'm SO EXCITED! It's our first performance and this week will be a flurry of rehearsals/ sorting out our costumes (and MOST importantly... learning to dance in heels!!!)

Have a lovely week - next time I'll be back with news from my printmaking class at Gunnersbury Park Museum (which I LOVED!) x

Monday

CBRE Invite

Helloooooo!

Cor, all a bit nuts juggling lots of projects (the main one is still top secret for now but hope I can share it with you soon!) Here's the CBRE invite with my magnolia illustration - I LOVE the foil and I'm really chuffed with how it turned out.

OK, just popped in to share this, must dash as the 'To Do' list is GIANT!

See you soon x

Thursday

Creepy Crawlies...

Hello All!

Loved drawing these bugs for a recent editorial (but obviously felt INSANELY itchy throughout the process!)

Lots of juggling projects at the moment, and starting a few FANTASTIC new ones. I'm absolutely loving living in Brighton and having the BEST summer. Lots of roller skating and sea swimming, it's bliss!

Have a wonderful week and I'll be back very soon (if you have a chance go and see the Christo exhibition at the Serpentine - it's AWESOME) x

Tuesday

Coutts Residency - in the window!

Hiya!

I hope that you're having a lovely week, I just wanted to share some photos from my Artist Residency. This time from the period spent in the windows live painting so the public could watch. I created 4 x 2m high canvases, each depicting a different garden from the rooftop at Coutts Bank Headquarters. The finished paintings are currently on display and available to view at 440 Strand London. They are being auctioned for Coram children's charity and 100% of the monies raised will be going to them.

I'll be back next week to share process shots from the painting and the finished pieces x

Thursday

Limited edition prints for Coutts

Still MILES behind on the blog.... First up I want to share the 4 x limited edition prints I created to document each of the four rooftop gardens during my Artist Residency at Coutts. I spent the first week of my residency working between the rooftop garden and drawing in the banking hall. Each day I created a new drawing (actually I made about 8 each day!) but the best one was made into a limited edition print of 50 per image for Coutts clients.

OK, back to work (after ANOTHER cup of tea - obv!) x
