Here's a recent commission for Hiscox Insurance via Wardour, it illustrates an article about the new trend for insuring weddings and private parties and was such a lovely thing to draw. It inspired the long birthday cake banners that I have been working on with local young people to celebrate EDFAS's 10th birthday - more details here.
Last Saturday I ran a workshop with local young carers in Maidenhead to create the beautiful pink cake banners below. This group are members of the Young Carers Project which is aimed at young people aged between 8 - 19 in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. These young people perform caring duties for someone in their family, perhaps a disabled parent, a brother or sister who has a learning disablity or elderly grandparents. They were such a nice team to work with, incredibly hard and very neat workers and did a really lovely job!
